Battle of Plattsburgh
The annual commemoration of the Battle of Plattsburgh is much more than a reenactment, although there are tactical demonstrations and a living history camp. This event provides more than a week of activities, including indoor and outdoor concerts, parade, 19th century tavern, vendors, bateaux race, and an English Country Dance (The Macomb Ball). It's worth a visit.
